I mean, what do you do then??? Do you stand up and address the people who so lovingly showed up to pay their respects and say their goodbyes? Do you just walk out? Do you lay back down and pretend no one saw you?
Personally, I would at least want to say something to the people, but what would I say??? Probably something like:
But judging by how seriously some of my friends and family take zombies, I feel like a zombie joke right off the bat would only get me a bullet in the forehead, and would therefore be inappropriate....

If I was at your funeral and you sat up in your coffin and said brains I would prolly shoot you then burn your corpse to be sure that you were truly dead.
ReplyDeleteIf I woke up in a coffin at my funeral I would probably be very confused. Maybe I would be witty and say something like brains, but I would probably say something like WTH is going on? And then head for the foodstuffs.
Hahaha Mike! I totally know you would shoot me if I said "Brains"...you and about 6 other people I can name off the top of my head! Heading for the food sounds smart. I imagine I'd probably be starving after being dead for a while.

DeleteIf I was dead and woke up at my funeral I'd say "Someone must have used the Dragonballs." I'd make a Yu Yu Hakusho reference, but I don't feel it'd be appropriate since almost no one I know has seen it. (losers) plus none of the things he said when he came back either time would make much sense. Although if someone said "What? I listened, your heart stopped beating!" I'd definitely say "Yeah it's still not, guess I should be worried huh?"
